A special matinee will be showing this weekend, November 28th, charging a flat $1.00 admission. There will be prizes/drawings and treat bags. A great beginning for the Kickoff to Christmas events going on throughout Geneva that afternoon and evening. Doors open at 1:15 p.m. and the movie, Rise of the Guardians, will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Located in Geneva, Nebraska, Rialto II Theater is a community volunteer second-run theater, managed by the Fillmore County Cinema Association.
Although primarily used as a movie theater, the city owned building also shows plays, concerts, and other venues through the Geneva Arts Council, Fillmore Central Schools, and other organizations. These venues don't happen often but will be mentioned on this blog when available. Mostly it will focus on the theater in it's capacity as a movie theater. With this being a community volunteer theater with only one screen, normally there is one movie showed twice each weekend: Saturday and Sunday night beginning at 7:30 p.m.. On rare occurrences, such as November 28, 2021, there will be special matinee movie due to special occasion or holiday. By using volunteers to run admissions and concessions at each show, we are able to keep prices low, currently charging admissions of $3.00 for children k-8th grade & adults 60+, $4.00 for high schoolers & adults, and anyone in preschool and under gets in free. |
